has certainly succeeded in making me ravenously hungry!

 

Gotta have buttermilk but...

Recipe:

Sliced Green Tomatoes (solid slices)...
Buttermilk, Salt and Pepper in bowl...
Bathe the slices of Green Tomatoes...

Mix Plain Regular ol'Bread Crumbs w/ Salt, Pepper and a bit of Cayenne...

Dredge the bathed Slices....

In a medium hot saute (to get the Sizzle, then turn down a tad) cook em for a solid piece of time flipping regularly so that the are cooked clear through but with a good lightly crisped crust! Drain em on paper towels and set aside.

Take a slice of (ur pick thickness, But Gooper insists they be thin) Canadian Bacon, already quickly cooked and set aside.

Fry an egg (in Olive Oil... Almost all we do is OLIVE OIL...)

Plate a slice of the Fried Green Tomato, and start piling up a slice of Canadian Bacon the Fried Egg, topped with another slice of the Fried Green Tomato...

Now you dress 'em like the photo with some scallions, red pepper and cilantro (or I'd grab a jalapeno!)...

(OR you can get fancy and really round em up)...

Zenith is silent in Seattle probably fixing up her new digs... (last week we were at Dupars!).

Sheckinah Hila (boy am I stupid that it took me 54 years to learn that Hila is hebrew for Halo!)... Thanks... (where was I, oh...) Hila is in Irapuato with Arturo...

Sinaya is working so hard and sleeping so long...  And she seems to like this Ariel fellow...

AJ is contemplating a trip to Spain (I think) and still owes me an Arturo's lunch date....

Danny is going crazy with the Deutsch Lessons and all... He is set to go Jan 5th if all goes well...

Gooper is gearing up from and for the line above... And still slightly limping...

Nana and Poppa are getting old...

Hank is taking care of business like never before...  And probably needs a break...

Nancy is working like a big biz exec!  And getting to bed early!  (Sorry I woke you up the other night!)

Me... I am caught up (in a sisyphusian way) with work and not in need of a break... Last weekend was a great break!  Should last me the to Fall.

If anything else... I am not aware.
